What about costs?
Our fees and conditions seek to reflect the requests and requirements of our clients.
Our services for a civil ceremony can differ, and our range from $870 to $1,500+.
Bilingual civil ceremonies (Cantonese or Mandarin) are available!
The main cost of a celebrant is their role tailor your ceremony to your day, and in accordance with the Marriage Act. The other costs for attendance or administrative work, are costed differently by celebrants. Feel free to ask them questions, and share what is important for you on your wedding day.
*Special* - for ceremonies with less than 30 guests within Sydney, the costs are $800. Please mention this if you'd like to seek this offer.
We would be very happy to reduce fees by 5% if you are able to demonstrate reducible costs - these early active participation in crafting the ceremony, reducing our travel call outs to location, being aware and responsive to documentation needs.
Our focus is to celebrate your day and blend with the lasting memories you and your guests would soon have, for our lovely and courteous clients we always strive.

What does this cost include?
I use the flat fee model because it is easier for you to discuss what to add or take out. Alternatively I can provide a detailed fee break down and confirm an hour rate, administration, certificate fees and transport costs.
Discuss your requirements with your celebrant to understand their approach to fees, and remember the important element about your day is about you.
As a general guide these are responsibilities you need to ask your celebrant to take on:
The short list
Your wishes!
The long list
* lodgement of the Notice of Intended Marriage
* meetings to discuss needs with you
* review and discussion regarding your status to marriage
* discuss legal needs for your ceremony (particularly if you have dual language requests) consult, draft and review your ceremony,
* government stationery, and preparing the marriage documents at the ceremony,
* providing the hire and use of their portable PA during the ceremony
* administrative costs (secure storage of your document, registered post)
* disbursements (travel to meetings, transport costs to your venue)
* travel up to 15km radius of CBD
* final lodgement of documents.
Please remember that your circumstances are unique to you. If there are documentation requirements that need to be resolved through the use of translators or interpreters specifically required to legalise your marriage, these are additional matters outside the Celebrant's scope to perform.
Your celebrant will be there to navigate any concerns of yours, or within your circumstances, so don't hesitate to raise any questions early. For example: "I am called Joyce, but I found out recently my birth certificate says something different.." "I had a passport ten years ago but never renewed it, and I have no idea where my birth certificate is..."
